KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER Italy
Serge Ferrai designs, develops and manufactures innovative composite fabrics for lightweight architectural and outdoor design applications.
Aimed primarily at four strategic global markets – sun protection, tensioned architecture, modular structures, and furniture/marine – their high-end solutions combine durability, safety, design, comfort and environmental responsibility. With strong potential for development and innovation across a wide range of construction and design applications, from everyday needs to the most spectacular projects.
We are recruiting:
Location: Italy (Between Venice and Florence)
Position: Key Account Manager, Italy
Remuneration (Fixed salary €50,000 + 20% bonus):
Contract type: Permanent contract / Start date: Q2 2026
The main responsibilities are centred around two key areas:
• Sales Division:
Management of a major distributor and several clients in Italy.
Joint development with the distributor of a portfolio of around 50 clients in the marine, modular construction and industrial sectors.
Identification and exploitation of sales opportunities, with annual turnover targets.
Negotiation and direct interaction with senior-level contacts: company directors, procurement managers or buyers, and sales directors.
• Prescription and Promotion Division:
Promoting the brand to leading architects, design consultancies, façade specialists and main contractors.
Promoting Serge Ferrari products to blind specialists and fitters.
Establishing and maintaining long-term, strategic relationships.
Furthermore, it will be important to work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Finally, the candidate will be required to provide regular reports to their line manager.
Required Profile:
- At least 5 years’ significant experience in B2B industrial management.
- Proven skills in key account management and a good knowledge of the Italian market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, strong organisational skills and a strong results-oriented approach.
- Language: Fluent Italian + Proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel frequently in Italy on a weekly basis.
